  1. d. chloroplasts

    The photosystems in these chloroplast use light energy to produce ATP and high energy electrons ( like in NADPH). The ATP produced in mitochondria is similar to the ATP produced in chloroplast in that they both use a electrochemical gradient of H+ to catalyze the phosphorlation of ADP into ATP. The only difference is in the source of the high energy electrons. Food in cellular respiration and sunlight in photosynthesis.
