Hardware for baby crib?

i was given this crib used. the cherry finish has been chewed off by the previous owner. i want to paint it white, but the hardware for the drop rail is brown...where can i get that kind of hard ware in white? it is plastic, so it probably wouldnt paint well. any ideas are appreciated

I'm all for re-using, but be safe with the paint. Buy a low or no VOC paint, and get a food safe varnish to protect the paint from your baby's teething.  Contact the manufacturer to see if you can get replacement hardware, you won't find it a a regular hardware store.
