I was flat out lied to by these people. I called to have expanded digital service added to my account. I was told we have a special that will include all those channels AND all the movie channels(HBO Cinemax etc) FREE for 2 months. I said OK and within 10 minutes cable box and channels were working except for the movie channels. Called Cox and within 5 seconds they sent a signal to the box and all the movie channels were working. Everything is great. Turn back to the expanded channels and nothing is working. Another call to COX. This time I am told there is a filter on the cable line and that those channels will not work. WHAT????? They were just working and now they don't. Not only do I have to pay to have someone come out and remove this filter, I have to pay for the channels that I was told a hour before would all be free. How in the world were these channels working 10 minutes ago and now they aren't if a filter has been on the line the entire time?Doesn't this sound like a scam?
