Has anyone been homeless?

and why? I was for a while and had to sleep on my boyfriend's mate's floor. Then I ran from Bournemouth to Newport 8 months pregnant cos my boyfriend got violent and agressive when I would not give him money for drugs and I had to go to a woman's refuge.

Yup - slept in my shop for 2 years.

No, I've been homeless.  The worse of a situation I've been in; was when I was job searching and no employer/company in my area would hire me.  The I applied for a job at a larde retail store 45 minutes north of my house.  They interviewed me and was willing to hire me and give me a chance.  I took the job, because they were the only employer/compnay that was willing to hire me, and I was getting desprit.

Yeah, when i was 15, my mom passed. The step-dad & me hated each other, so it wasn't long until that deteriorated badly. i bummed around at friends until their parents got wise. Then it was off to woods, under bridges, behind shopping malls, i even crashed in a projection booth in a grandstand until someone found my sleeping bag & books(Ray Bradbury) and locked me out. Late late raids on grocery stores (i usually filched a few pieces of lunch meat or pepperoni out of containers that i could close back up, take a little chunk out of a cheese wedge,and washed it down with a quart of milk) to provide sustenance. i even got real good at rolling cigarettes out of discarded "long" butts. That all lasted about a year and a half.

Your situation sounds heartbreaking, but remember, after you find the bottom, the only place to go is back up.

my mom was when...she was with aguy who was a druggy...and a similiar expeirecne happen to her but, she miscarried......honey stay away from bad men.....you need to protect yourself!
