not miami ink but my friend was at the High Volatage tattoo /LA ink and now hes regreting it cause he paid over 300$ for a 4 inch chinese symbol meaning faith

Insane I heard that same of Kat Von D that she won't do a tattoo for less than $1,000.

There is actually a link on TLC that is for submitting to be on the show. The people that walk in on the show are not random and have been preselected by TLC and the artists.

I went over Spring Break. It's pretty much nothing like the show. The artists you see on TV are not there when filming isn't taking place. Plus they are insanely pricey too just because they know people will come in and get tattooed at the famous Miami Ink place. I didn't get tattooed there, but my friend did. It was $300 for a 3x3 inch nautical star.

Yes. Its a rip off. Nothing like the show. The artists on tv are not even there. Its totally different.
