Venice but only breifly it was rubish cos we had to wait in an airport for like 7 hours and it was rather hot, but it looked lovly from the plane veiw.

Im Italian and I been to many of places, best places I love in Italy are Venice, Rome, Lido di Jesolo, Cattolica, amalfi coast, bolongna, florence, tuscany, belaggio, lake garda

Yes, it is a beautiful country.  So many wonderful places to visit.  Number one has to be Rome, though.

Yes, its a stunningly beautiful country, visited Sorrento twice (Yes it was that good!), and Tuscany once. Nowhere like it on the planet.

hi!! I am Italian. I live in Sardinia, in a little town near to Cagliari. I have been in a lot of Italian places.. but Sardinia is the best place of Italy =)

There are lots of great places that I have visited in Italy, with some of the best being Florence, Rome, Pisa and Venice.

All have stunning buildings and culture. I'd recommend Florence if you're into food, as the fresh produce from Tuscany is exceptional.

Venice is great and truly unique but best avoided in mid-summer, when the city is packed and the waterways tend to smell somewhat.
