Has anyone got this virus?

it puts something in the middle of your monitor and it's a yellow box and it says spyware detected. Some people I know are getting it and I'm worried that I will get it.

  3. I think i know what u mean. Is it a yellow box in the middle and surrounded by blue? If it is u might need to reboot your computor because of viruses. Wait a week and you'll find out if you have viruses or not.

  5. If you do get it, don't click on it. Immediately download and scan what I am putting on here. Do this in Safe Mode, not windows if you have the problem. If you need more details, contact me by email at josh-sutton@hotmail.com. Run these in safe mode at least once a month but make sure you run these scans in windows or safe mode at least once a week.

    Next, download Spybot Search & Destroy and keep it updated. This gets rid of unwanted spyware. Before you scan computer, immunize it first. Its the third tab on the left down. Make sure it shows 0 unprotected and xxxxxxxx protected. Then do the scan. This is Free!!

    Then, you want to get a program called Ad-Aware. This also gets rid of unwanted spyware / cookies. Keep this updated for latest definition files. All you have to do on this one is just scan. This is Free but you can upgrade to pro for a price.

    Then if you want to do more scans, you can go to Trend Micro's site while in windows not safe mode and do a free scan online where it will get rid of your grayware, malware, cookies that are unwanted, spyware etc.

    If you may encounter getting viruses or spyware and you can't get it off, download SmitFraud Fix. It will get rid of it. Update it before using it.

    That's all I can think of right now but that's all that I use on my computer.

  7. If you don't wnat to get it don't send or receive files or emails from them until they fix their problem.

  8. Try Sandboxing your browser,

    It creates a virtual sandbox than contains all downloaded files or any changes that are made to your browser.

    If you get a virus or visit a site that changes your browser, you simply clear your sandbox and none of those changes are permanent.

  9. If you wanna make sure you dont get anything, dont click on links from other people and dont download  anything or open any emails that you dont know of.

    Make sure you have firewall turned on, and its best to download a anti virus protection thing.

    I use Windows Live Onecare. You can download it for free for 90 days and keep it for $50.

    It really works, it saved my computer from complety crashing.
