Has anyone had knee surgery?

how was it,how do you feel,pro's and cons? anyone out there who had it done.

I had arthoscopic surgery on both knees, still may need another due to cartilage damage.  The key to surgery is patience, you won't feel better for a while.  Listen to your doctors, follow your physical therapy very strictly.  

I'm a young guy (21), the pros for me are getting back to doing the things i love, the con would be not being able to compete at the level I use to be at.
