has anyone heard of the saying, whats the point of living if you cant be with the one your heart belongs to the most? and what are your thoughts of it

I think it's BS.  There is not just "one".  If you can't be with this one, there will be another one.

i think it's very romantic and flowery, but in reality it doesn't stand up very well. It's a nice idea, but how do you know when you've found the right person? if everyone started committing suicide because of a break up with the possible love of his/her life, well, we would be left with a bunch of really conceited people. everyone has relationships, but the majority just don't work. sometimes it takes a while to get over the other person, but it's not worth killing yourself.

i think that believing in "one true love" is a little harsh...you know, what happens if you never meet the "one". however, i do agree that if you dont ever meet someone that you truly love that your life has been wasted.
