I am not sure if it is my age or if Cancer seems to be on the increase. I know so many people and animals that have it. Are the cancer statistics becoming worse or do I just notice it more because I am older? It seems just this year I know of 3 people who have gotten it and one dog that has died from it. Is Cancer becoming epidemic?

  1. Well, right off, I'd dismiss the paranoid kind of notions that there is a secret cure--come on, if somebody really had that he'd be a gazillionaire overnight.

Likewise the thought about 'processed foods', etc., except just the roundabout way that becasue of good food in the civilised world people are living much longer than even 75 years ago, and cancer tends to be disease of old age. In other words, there is more cancer about, but mainly because people aren't dying of other things first.

In the US, there is a suspicion that the birth control pill and pills to dry up a new mother's milk production are responsible for an increase in breast cancer, due to s******g up hormone production.  Those seem plausible, but the link is still tenuous.  My mother died of cancer which started as breast cancer, and I know she had taken both kinds of pills--not hard evidence I know, but certainly worth thinking about.

  2. Only because the cure isn't being released.  If only society wasn't based on money..

  3. hmm good question i think its just more common theese days like lung cancer cuz ppl are smoking alott and maybe it is just cuz ur getting older

  4. The world is getting more polluted, and there are far to many prosessed food. Yes, its probably gonna get worse.

  5. how come you are so worried about this subject, are there family members who have cancer. sounds like you are over thinking this
