Has modern technology spoiled graffiti?

In the past people used to put some effort in. You couldn't just scrawl your name with a marker pen - you had to spend a few days carving it in stone, or wood, or painting it on.

I have my dog's name and children's names' and my dear late wife's  scratched in wood

, on top off the highest point in Birmingham [tallest slope] We used to go there walking

many years ago,  37yrs  

and sometimes I go back to B,ham and climb that hill just to see those names' and tears in my eyes I remember those happy days,
