Haunted House....?

Question

I saw this special on tv about these people who thought their house was haunted by ghost. I kinda believe in that kind of stuff but it has never happened to me. Does anyone have any haunted stories?

I actually have a couple stories But ill just tell you the 1st time something like this happened I was either 13 or 14 I was sitting in the kitchen and i was on the phone My mom was sitting at the kithen table M bedroom was down at the end of the hallway and could be seen from the kitchen I had the lights on in my room and the window open My bedroom door was open The 1st thing that happened that was strange was my cats started going crazy they were jumping wildly to get to the window and when they finally did get up there They were clawing at the screen trying to shred it to get out They were meowing strangely Almost like how a cat sounds when they are in heat But the were all fixed and the way they were meowing wasnt exactly like that It was wilder Almost like they were scared My mom got up and tryed to get them away and they attacked her arm They never did that before... ever While she was doing that my bedroom door slammed shut I looked over and didnt think much of it since i figured my window was open Even though it wasnt windy at all outside I started seeing shadows through the cracks in the outline of the door Almost like someone was in there The shadow moved quickly several times past the door I got chills down my spine I slowly walked up to the door Before i was halfway up to it I heard a sliding scraping noise against the wall I opened the door There was no one in my room and all the pictures on my walls were slanted sideways...uneven....all of them My drawers that had all my pictures and memorabilia were opened partially And my window screen wasnt open So i knew no one broke in Besides they wouldnt have had enough time to do all that and get out by the time my door slammed I later found out that when theres a ghost Cats (plus all other animals) can sense them and they get freaked out and they will try to get away by any means possible I still get chills thinking about that day But that just makes me feel better knowing that we all do have souls and when we die, we dont really die But keep on living in a different form I hope this helps Maybe ill tell you the other time i dealt with ghosts another time Hope this helps

My current house, it used to have a garage, long before we moved in, I'm not especially sure what happens in there, however you can usually find the door to the utility room open where its supposed to be locked, and I get the feeling of being watched in there at night.

I saw 999 ghosts at the Haunted Mansion at Disney World.  They always have room for one more.  (Evil Laugh!)

Well, I live in Indiana, so my parents went to a famous haunted place called the Aberdeen Inn. But they didn't know it was haunted. So they went there and went to bed. But my mom woke up in the middle of the night and heard dice rolling. But my mom just went back to bed. The next morning, they went down the stairs to get some breakfast. But on the way down the stairs, my dad saw something. To the right of him was a picture of a little girl. He said "Amy, wait. I think I've seen this girl somewhere before........THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL, there was an episode of top 10 haunted places in America and they showed a picture of this girl and this Inn!" So they went downstairs and while they were ordering, they asked the waitress, "Excuse me, but is this place haunted?." And she said, "Yes it is, around the thirties, or fourties (I'm not sure) a little girl died here. She's not evil, but this girl likes to cause mischief. In the morning, people will find creamers on the ground." (that explains the rolling of the dice sound my mom heard) "And when ladies set out their jewelery on the dressers or nightstands, they will find them all tangled up. One lady actually saw the ghost", said the waitress. This lady woke up to something shaking her and saying "mommy...mommy...." I think of it as a sad thing, actually.  "So the lady ran down the stairs with her luggage right into the lobby." My parents were a little surprised, but my mom, mostly since she had encountered the rolling noise. True Story, look it up.

Absolutely. The house I grew up in was definitely haunted!!!!

It was old,  people died there over the years, etc.

There was nothing ever scary about it. It was just really odd sensations and occurences

Yes! Yet I still don't know whether or not to believe on them or not.

Well I was staying a friends house many years back when I was a young girl. She had this house with this one small room with a piano in it. And we were asleep where I heard a piano playing, so I woke up my friend and we went downstairs. Her parents locked the door to this room in the evening due to this happening several times before (when you young your less scared of things you see) So we grabbed the key and opened the door and as we were opening the door - it stopped. We look around and we saw nothing, it was empty room with only a piano so bare in mind nothing can hide. The window's were inoperable too. And it wasn't smashed too. Since then it apparently happened every evening. And they just grew to block it out.

I was astonished to find this exact same situation happened in the film 'The Others' almost to the dot. Amazing how I never told anyone involved in the movie about this event.

My Gma's house is very, very, very huanted. When your there alone it souns like people are walking around upstairs and sometimes it sounds like some one trowing a two by four against the wall. I have also seen a baby run from end of the hall to the other end. Her house is very very very. There has been a boy that had been killed on her land. My granny's house is huanted her husband shot his self in there room long story behind why he shot his self. But get back to my point i was living with her for a few months, and the time i stayed there i was always afraid to go to sleep. I felt like someone was watching me I heard a man say hello I heard a women scream and also something was kocking on my window. Weird huh? I believe is ghost. I have plenty more stories. I exspierence alot of things.

My mother, her family in Central America, and even my husband from Ohio all have stories about haunts...my husband's story...in Ohio, they lived in a house, and would hear creaks, doors slamming, voices....and my husband even saw the face of a ghost which paralyzed him completely..he said the ghost was talking to him, but he was so afraid, he didn't pay attention to what was being said. But he felt that every time he was in that home, he felt like someone was watching. His mom felt like that too! But I think she is in denial that the home was haunted. This kind of stuff freaks me out! I'm kind of getting the creeps now!

i used to live in an old church... it was haunted.. after my uncle died in it the activity started to happen... we could hear someone pacing the floor upstairs where the funeral bodies would be held.. our 3 german shepard dogs would not dare go up stairs.. my bedroom and outrkitchen was in the basement and on two occasions heard a woman calling my name from down the LONG one way in, one way out hallway. it was a 21 room church so it was big. the night my uncle died she heard someone walking on the other side of the room and it was my uncle looking for a small paper bag he used to carry with him.. my brother used to see a shadow figure walk the hallways and entry way day and night, i thought he was just messing with me until I saw it in daylight myself..when i was a little younger i saw a man laying on my bed with his arms behind his head, legs crossed and grinning at me. he dissapeared.. i will never forget that. i wish i new who the man was. and the womens voice in the hall.. i have a ton others but that would take all day to type.... great question by the way.. love this topic.. i would love to be a ghost hunter...
