Have a new computer (dell)

Question

have a new computer (dell) and I hooked up the easyshare camer (DX4530) to it.Also when I started system with old (but worked)an updated software bpackage was downloaded. Now, when I hit the button on the camera dock nothing happens. Any idea what the problem is.
