Have pleomax 8G high speed

Have pleomax 8G high speed usb storage. Cannot access files. Does not auto-run as it used to. Makes audible indication when plugged into usb, and devices manager says device is running properly. Currently using Sony w/Windows Vista...used to work fine until last week. Desperately need those files
