Have sleeping problems?? Bad??

How come when i try to go to sleep i just cant sleep and i never really get tired? Does anyone know any good ways of falling asleep or something? And yeah, nearly everyday i do go to sleep quite late because of this and i usually am that awake i end up on my laptop or something. It affects my waking up times as well as i end up hardly having any sleep at all then i wake up at about dinner time - or even later - but i really want to be up at like 10 am because i don't look lazy then and i will have more of a day. It is also quite embarrassing when people come round to our house and i have just woken up?? I have tried all these lavender remedies and i have tried to stay up all day and night so the next day i would go sleep at times like 9-10 pm - which helped a little - anyway i really need someones help - and PLEASE NO STUPID ANSWERS. Thanx 4 those hu actually help.

  1. -make sure you arent doing anything liek watching tv or on the computer for 30 mins before going to bed, try something like reading or anything quiet that can relax you and keep your mind busy

    -try and do a lot of physical activity in the day so your tired at night

    -dont drink any caffeine / soft drink or anything like that for about 2 hours before bed.

    -if your stressed about something maybe , that can effect your sleeping

    -make sure you arent hungry and dont have a full bladder

    -dont have lots of blankets cos you get hot and uncomfortable


  2. Try drinking milk or eating rice before going to bed, both contain melatonin, a natural sleeping aid, which help you sleep better. From http://nosleep.in


  3. Eat a turkey sandwich with warm milk before bed. The milk and turkey have chemicals in them that help you sleep.

  4. try the over counter med call sleep-MD it is much better than anyother

  5. Make sure you are getting enough calcium and vitamin d. Then, when you  feel tired go to bed and make sure your room is very quiet and DARK no light at all. If you cant manage that try earplugs and eyeshades.
