IM FROM MENDOZA, ARGENTINA. AND I HAVE BEEN TO BUENOS AIRES A COUPLE OF TIMES, I AM 24 YEARS OLD AND I HAVE BEEN IN CALIFORNIA EVER SINCE I BEEN 2 YEARS OLD, BUT THE COUPLE OF TIMES I WENT TO BUENOS AIRES, U KNOW OF COURSE ITS THE BEST FOOD IN THE WORLD, BUT THE PEOPLE FROM THE CAPITAL LIKE ALWAYS THINK THEY'RE ALL THAT AND MAKE PEOPLE FROM THE OTHER STATES FEEL LESS, BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS GREAT, U SHOULD GO !!!

YES!!!, it was amazing.  My wife and I went to Buenos Aires for Christmas last year and I had a great time.  I was born in Argentina but I hadn't been back for almost twenty years.  It was pretty emotional to be there and there is way too much to see to go just for a few days.  There are restaurants with all kinds of meat (goat, lamb, pigs, excellent beef) slow grilling over wood charcoal all day ... it's phenomenal with a bottle of red wine, and the wine is almost all good.  It's a bit crowded and dirty on the streets and some areas of town are sketchy--if you aren't going to have someone there that you know, I would stay in a touristy district and get to know the local bars and restaurants.  You MUST spend a day in La Boca and another shopping and people watching on Florida street (a pedestrian street).  

Are you talking about visiting the whole state of Buenos Aires, or just staying in the city?  Depending on your tastes, the city can be a little overwhelming and noisy--we went to Mar del Plata, which is a seaside town with casinos, beautiful parks and beaches, and an amazing nightlife... I would recommend getting out of the city if you have the time to spend a few days there.  It's a few hours trip.
