"A Promise" - minute poem

You hold my gaze, haunted brown eyes,

I realize...

metallic kiss

I know we miss

the soul made of wind and water;

fallen daughter

please take my hand,

I'll help you stand.

Take shelter in forbidden love,

we'll rise above

their perception,

no deception.

Every piece so far that I've read. But quite a few of your recent ones are poking my brain for various reasons. I am quite a curious person. But I shall not share that here. Another time for another day. But little pieces of a few poems keep catching my mind, or persay my imagination. My view, my interest, my questions. And there is oh so much that I'd like to talk to you about, but over the phone I cannot ask. It must be in person so until then(if I remember) we shall hold embrace and glance.

When the fresh stiffness of first Spring

Unrolls to bring

By turns, summer,

And the rummer

Fruits and fat flowers of old Fall,

The banal thrall

Of stiff walled rifts,

Fustian, lifts

To reveal in snowdrifts fractals

In your dactyls--

But a splinter

Of sweet winter.

These minute poems are good for packing a lot into very few words. Wonderful promise, that I'm sure you'll keep.
