Have you ever started a fire?

like a big fire?fire trucks had to come? you were embarassed

Almost! OK, my mom had invited my aunt, uncle, and cousins over one night and two of my cousins wanted hot dogs. The only hot dogs we had, had to be cooked in the microwave.

I asked my mom, "how much time to I put on the microwave for two hot dogs?"

I thought she said "For 2:40." She really said "For two....? Forty." Meaning forty seconds.

So I put it in for 2:40. When the timer got down to 1:25, smoke was pouring out the edges and it smelt horrible!

Of course the hot dogs were now not edible. Well, actually...NAH!

Lol if my aunt hadnt said, "Is the microwave supposed to be doing that?" Who knows what would've happened!

yeah. we were driving down behind Lance Burton's house down in las vegas. there's a huge gogre down there and the only people tHat go there usualy throw raves.

we were throwing molitove cocktails at rock walls and it caught some brush on fire. we booked it out of there, but it left a huge trace.

once when i was out with my mom getting a manicure we got a call that the fire department was coming to my house cuz my brother and sister do not know how to make rice... they brunt rice quite a few times before they finally got it right ad they still dont till this day

another time i was in a hotel and someone that was traveling with us put candles on the tv on a paper plate (idiot) and it burnt through the tv and started an electrical fire, so we spent over 5 hours outside the hotel in the parking lot cuz of something someone we know did, someone we brought along..... very embarassing

yea but not in the US though... the fire must of been 15 feet high but I made sure it was in a controlled environment. No firefighters came.

i have started a fire on purpose when i probably wasnt supossed to. but it was not like i burnt the house down and the fire people had to come. i did it on the side of the house on the sidewalk. it was awesome. we did it with sparkelers. lol. bwe put it out with a water bottle. but it was funny and fun.

no, the girl down the hall left a roast in the oven too long, left her apartment and the smell of smoke was coming thru the door. i called the fire dept, they kicked in the door and the hall filled with smoke! we were all outside in february, when a fireman tossed out a roasting pan with a smoldering lump of meat from the 3rd floor balcony!   LOL

O my god it was so embarassing!!!! My family and I went to North Carolina to clean up my grandparents house after my gpa died. We were also taking care of the neighbors house while she was away. One afternoon we came outside and my mom thought the neighbors house that we were taking care of was on fire. So she called the fire department and FOUR fire trucks came because there was no local action going on. It turned out that North Carolina allows open fires and a neighbor on the other street had a huge fire burning. Then my family and I heard the firemen laughing and they were all saying, "hahaha their from California!"

never had one where fire trucks had to come,  but i cannot start a fire without a fireperson around....my mother, brother, sister, father, and mother b/f and his father,  and just about all of our family friends are firemen and women!!!!

Geee that reminded me when i was a young teen..........when we could burn garbage out in the back yard..I took the garbage and started the fire.. went back in the house.. looked out later and the whole back yard was blazing.. i went out there with a broom and started stompin the fire out by then my grands were out there helping me control the fire.. way back then we didnt have  fire department..needless to say i didnt do that again..Thanks to the grands help..Embarrased you name it..
