dessert tofu?

I found it at my store (for .99!!) and i bought some. I think its really good (my family begs to differ) and I was wondering if you tried it??

and another plus is that it has 10% rda of calcium and its only 90 calories!

im eating peach-mango right now.. yum

  1. I have so far tried two brands of chocolate soy dessert. One has 15% of the calcium RDA and also contains B12 & B6, and it tastes okay. The other isn't fortified at all, and tastes a bit too bitter, but is organic.

  3. I haven't tried any dessert made from actual tofu- soy ice cream is about as far as I've ventured as yet and that's pretty good (as long as you don't look at the five dollar a pint price tag.)

    What is the texture of it like? Is it a gel/ cake-like/ crunchy?

  5. Um, it's not a ripoff because it's really healthy. Tofu is healthy in general. I guess they added flavors to spice it up. I'm chinese and my culture eats tofu a lot but I never liked it. But hey, it's good for your health. :)

    for the same amount of calories get those oreo things for about 100 calories

  8. if you would like tofu deseert recipe to make at home

    1 pack of mori nu tofu soft or silk

    1/2 pack of frozen mangos 1/2 thawed

    1/4 cup crystal cane sugar (optional) for the sweet tooth or you can use 2 tab honey.

    puree till smooth and it makes a wonderful cold smooothy.

  9. Try TOFUTTI CUTIES .... they're wonderful little "ice cream" sandwiches, but with frozen tofu.  They come in vanilla, chocolate and neapolitan, on those cakey chocolate wafers......
