Have you suffered from morning confusion?

Question

Left on my pillow?

Stolen late last night?

Can't seem to find it,

though try as I might.

I'm trapped in a fog,

can't see for the haze.

White tangled cobwebs

are blinding my gaze.

Clarity of thought

has escaped my mind.

Being held hostage,

wheels failing to grind.

Mental amnesia,

sans any focus.

Morning confusion,

my thoughts are bogus.

Morning are foggy!

Most-times, I'm groggy.

Until I've also had my brew...

...and until then...phew!

I've had daydreams about night things in the middle of the afternoon.

indeed I do and the hurriedier I go the more harried I become,,, morning, noon, or night.   No exclusive time zones for me.  Light of day, dark of night,,, matters not a whit.

That is one of the reasons I get up earlier than I really need to. I have to kinda ease into the day...not jump right into it.

Several things alleviate that for me.

1. My purring kitty Farre.  She's my alarm cat.  What a nice way to gently wake up!

2.  A mega dosage of B complex.  Wall Greens sells a "balanced" B complex that alleviates mental and physical dullness. It's GREAT!

3.  Chai Tea Latte  (just cause it tastes good)

4. I nice brisk morning walk with friends or the dog.
