The Geelong game was an abberration for the Roos, who haven't played all that badly this year. A lot hinges on Franklyn, who is just as liable to have a shocker as he is a brilliant game (there's no inbetween with that guy!), but the midfield will decide it, as both teams are capable of kicking decent scores and have fairly similar defences, and I think Hawthorn are carrying a sore and possibly injured (Hodge?) midfield into the game. The other thing is that the Hawks will have a bit of a swagger after the heroic win against the Crows while North must be burning with shame - which team will channel their respective energies better?

For me, the deciding factor is this: every game from now on will be Glenn Archer's last game.

Well Hawks are on a high and North are on a low - that has to count for something. Both can score a lot of points and neither really has great defences so I'll say Hawthorn will keep the dream alive in a high scoring game and win by 25.

I reckon North will win. They can`t play 2 bad games in a row. I also think it will be fairly low scoring. It is supposed to rain on the weekend. I`m tipping 8 goals will win the game.
