  1. First thing, redtails , as most snakes, shed at different paces every shedding. However if it has been a while I would take the water dish out, put warm water in it (Not too Hot) and put him in it. Do this once a day and you should see him shed the skin very soon. Be patient, he's still a baby. Also, have you seen his eye caps come off yet? That is a sign of shedding the skin soon.

  2. ne way this took to long to read ne way give it time because ne way if it needs to sheed it will because ne way hes not retarded and knows how ne way.

  3. geez! Your crowding him! Give the thing some space!!! he'll do what he wants... when he wants.

  4. Give him a couple more days and if he hasnt shedded by then saok him in nice warm water and every day and keep his cage very humid and he should start to shed

  5. I wouldn't worry about it; he knows what to do and when to do it.  Having something rough, like a rock, he can rub against will make it much easier for him.  It also helps to keep his cage moist and humid, so occasionally misting his cage with a spray bottle and clean water may help the skin come off more easily.  Don't drench him though, once or twice a day should be plenty.

    Great pet, enjoy him.

  6. Is he warm enough? Seeing he is young if he dosent start acting normal in a day or two I would call a vet that accepts exotic pets or call exotic pet store that could give you more information on this. I am sorry I do not know a whole lot about snakes but I think either one of those could help you.
