so, there's this guy, well we've been on a couple of hang out dates with friends, etc, which is great fun cos we get along like a house on fire and there is deffinitly chemistry there. . . but

he wants to go on a 'date' date, lol, and i don't know if i want that, but he's really persistent, i feel bad cos i've said no so many times :-(

and also, i'm not heaps attracted to him, he's sooooo sweet and an absoloute gentleman, but i'm more the piercings/tattoo/musician type, lol

should i just giv it a go? or would that just be harder for him if it didn't work out?

you should definatly go out with him. if you don't then you'll never know what could've happened

just go ahead and give it a shot. it really couldnt hurt and it would be worse if he never got the  chance to find out if it would work.you might find out you like him more then you think

well, don't lead him on.

because that'll crush him.

tell him you would go with him on a date with him, but as friends.

I mean, instead of doing a group date, go on a single date with him & then you can see if you like it or not & warn him that it is just a friendly date. nothing serious.

give him a shot anyways...trust me you might be kicking yourself months or years from now when your tattooed/musician bf cheats on you and then dumps you cause you could have gone out with a nice guy and didnt!....you even said hes a gentleman so one date wont hurt..what have you got to lose if your still not into him then your not but dont pass up an opportunity to possibly be with someone wonderful who just might make you happy just because he doesnt look like the typical guy youd go for
