Headlight Sensor?

How can I add a headlight sensor to my car so that my head lights turn on and off when it becomes day and night? My car is a 2005 Toyota Highlander

Take a bit of wiring plus a good heavy duty relay to feed the headlights and be operated by the sensor. You'll wind up with the potential for more problems ( loss of headlights from component failure and/or bad connections) than any perceived advantage. Some hi-tech gadgets just really aren't worth it.
