Question:

Health or Halving a debt?

I have to pay off a bill this week, which will be £100, I would prefer to make it £200 so as to halve this debt but since making this plan I've now had to rethink this and put it towards getting some emergency dental treatment sorted out.

True the money thing has been on my mind quite a bit but I also know that getting into the Dentists chair and having some much needed work done is extremely important too.

  1. If you don't have your health, you don't have anything.  If the dental emergency causes you constant pain, prevents you from eating normally, or would otherwise distract you from working normally, then that should come first.

Paying debts should be a priority, but if you can't work properly, then you can't earn the money to pay the debts.  So do what you need to do so that you can continue to work and continue to make regular payments on your debts.

  2. Get the dental done dear.

  3. Health is so much more important. If you put off going to the dentist, you may be allowing exponentially worse damage to occur to your teeth, which will lead to more invasive and expensive dental work in the future.

Your debt will be waiting for you when you are done with the dentist, I promise.

Be brave and get the dentist over with. You will be glad you did.

  4. Please go pay a visit to your dentist.  If you neglect your teeth, it can lead to a potential infection.  Some types of dental infections can be fatal (it causes damage to the heart) if left untreated.

  5. Take care of your health first.  It is more important than money, and if you neglect it, then it would lead to even more expense.

    Be strong, my friend.
