Why would anyone name their child Neaveh Alizae? These days that name is so common and it clearly goes to show what frame of mind the child's parent's were in.It will sound so tacky when you have a 3/5 yr old running around telling people," My name is Neaveh, heaven spelled backwards and my middle name is some kind of alcoholic beverage." That would have to probably really get on people's nerves after awhile.I mean, I could see the name Neaveh, but Alizae? What if it were a boy? Would they name him Budweiser Von Miller? I guess some kids have to pay for their parent's ignorance and stupidity one way or the other.

  1. haha. I agree.

  2. i think that's fine.

i don't see anything wrong with it.

so what is there supposed to be more

    bob's and johns and melissa's Jessica's?

    no..that's boring now..

  3. i guess you can tell i don't drink because i had no idea that alizae was an alcoholic beverage...

my niece is named nevaeh ann-marie. she was born in 2004, so slightly before the name started gaining popularity.  i must say, i wasn't a fan at first, but the name has grown on me.  and i think it is pretty with ann-marie as the middle name.  and, her parents are not uneducated and were not under the influence of anything when selecting her name...

  4. i agree, and i don't understand this whole neveah thing either. isn't h**l the opposite of heaven? why would you want to put that label on your child?

  5. lol i must say i feel the same way as you!!

  6. Good heavens (no pun intended)!

I actually hadn't heard of Alizae as a beverage, although I've seen it as a girl's name before (reminds me of Kyrie Eleison).  I suppose with little Brandys and Chardonnays running around, any potable is fair game!

Of course, I *do* know a little boy named Jack Daniels (poor kid).

Not to mention the coworker of mine, Mrs. Case, who named her children Robert (nickname Bud) and Justin.  Can you imagine going to school as Justin Case?

  7. i feel bad for them

  8. I agree with you. People give their children some of the most ridiculous name. I feel bad for the kids involved.

  9. I don't understand why people think Nevaeh is unique.  All they have to do is look at the social security website to see Nevaeh was number the 31st most common girls name for 2007.  What a horrible name, I feel sorry for all those girls that will be forever marked as children of short-sighted, uneducated parents.

  10. Neaveh is so pretty.

People name there children unusual and unique names. I think it's fine. You don't want it to be to common. Like the name ashley, it is about a trillion of them

  11. I do think Alizae sounds pretty. I think it means "tradewinds"... although I would never personally use it because of the alcohol. Just like I would never use Brandy, Sherry, Marguarita, Tequila, etc.

I can't stand Nevaeh though... It sounds OK but looks terrible!

  12. I can tell you whats next.  Mykynzy.  And then the world will cry.

  13. OMG HOW FUNNY ☺
