Hedgehog question.. please answer?

I am getting a hedgehog in about 3 weeks and this weekend I'm gonna be painting my room and i figured out that there is this really cool chalkboard paint you can buy and it will make your wall basically be a chalk board but before i go out and buy it i wanted to make sure that a hedgehog would be O.K. with chalk fumes and stuff?

hi,

hedgehogs have very sharp sense of smell.they use it for smelling prey worms and insects.so even a small smell of paint may harm it.

i suggest you put it in another room while you are re-painting.the paint may poison the hedgehog,in any case.
