Hedonism.....Nude beach?

Question

Some friends are planning a trip to Hedonism and they want me to go along. What should I expect and what about the nude beach? I am not comfortable with being nude in front of other people. Are there beaches and activities not involving nudity.

Like previously stated there is also a prude side.. Only the nude side beach and pool are nude. The dining rooms and other main area's you have to be dressed.

Go with an open mind and just enjoy yourself.. Yes many may be swingers but there are many that aren't.. There are also fun theme nights, and great people to meet there.

I find nude beaches great. I love them. However you must be comfortable to be naked with friends and others. If not there is no point in going to a nude beach. If you can accept your body and others as they are then I'm sure you would enjoy your visit.

Hedo II in Negril is more for swingers then Hedo III on the north coast which is more for 20-30 year olds. Neither one requires you to shed your clothes, do what you feel comfortable doing.  As stated both resorts have nude and prude sides and no one will criticize you for keeping your clothes on on the prude side.  However, you'll look out of place on the nude side with clothes.

Understand that Hedo is not strictly a nude beach, as in nudist environment.  It is more of a swingers resort.

It;s a blast!!  However;  prude side for the less adventurous.

I was afraid on my first visit but, I quickly shed my inhibitions and joined in. Been 4 times and am ready to go again

The prude sides of Hedo 2 and 3 are pretty dead.  Hedo 2 has the nude beach/pool that is required nudity (you get 3-5 minutes after you sit down).  Hedo 3 has a mixed pool in the quad which is whatever you want to (not) wear.  

Hedo 2 is older, 3 is newer.  Hedo 2 has multi head showers, Hedo 3 has whirlpools in all of the rooms.  

Neither one of them is 5 star.  They are fun, but don't expect everything to be perfect, particularly at 2.  

As far as nudity goes - When we went there the first time were were just going to 'try' the nude side, but once we did we were hooked.  It's a blast, nobody is perfect (at least not many), so I wouldn't worry about what you look like.  About 75%+ percent of activities are on the nude/mixed side.  

You do have to be clothed (sorta) to go to the main restaurants, though they had a nude hotdog stand.  Drinks are all free, tipping is not allowed, and energizer bunny 'entertainment coordinators' are great.

If nudity and s*x themed activities aren't you thing, you probably want to think twice.  but if you want to really have a blast I'd go.
