Helicopter Marshalling?

Question

At an uncontrolled uk aerodrome (one that operates an air ground radio service) if helicopter marshalling is available, does the pilot or marshaller have ultimate control and responsiblity for the aircraft and can they overule or ignore the marshaller?

This my not be a lot of help becasue I am a US Commercial Helicopter pilot.  Here in the state we would call that an airport advisory service. In the case of an airport advisory service they have NO athority over anything.  They can tell you whats going on around the airport and that is pretty much it.  Once you hover to a ramp they can have someone come out and direct you where to go but I always land make then come to me and tell me there intentions before I will shut-down becasue I have been to airports where the FBO will have someone come out and marshal you to an area they control and then try to charge you a landing fee.

Whoever is acting as Pilot in Command is ultimately responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft - even thos where the wing moves...

Not from the UK, but the pilot is always ultimately responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft.  If a person tries to marshall you into something, they can be held responsible.  If you actually hit it, you're responsible too.

The PIC ALWAYS has ultimate control, resposibility for the aircraft. And you left out authority . Controlled or uncontrolled aerodrome or anywhere else on the planet.
