Hello? Can you hear me?

Sibilant striations vibrate

Through a thought-wrought

Filigree of images,

Macrame'd memories,

Electrified montages

Crackling in and out of focus.

Word-fish shoals shimmer,

Bank away, come back, gone.

What? Missed it! Who?

Silent depth charges boom

Roiling shadow-thunder echoes

A concussive thrust

Boiling towards Up!

Ice-fire ripples

Coruscate left and right as

A thousand mirror shards

Gyrate, weightless, in the blue.

Up! becomes a pull,

Insistent, demanding, Now!

Mind-sharks circle below,

In easy ellipses.

As time strobes and you breach,

Gasping, hanging from the Real,

Plucked from the seize,

Consciousness flapping on the bottom

Of the bed.

Awake.

Good Morning.

  2. Full of depth, emotion and feeling.

    The meter is terrific.

    Keep writing poetry!

  3. Ever heard the term "Purple Prose"?
