Hm. I just wanna ask you guys, I need glasses. I've tried a few pairs and they all look UGLY on me. So I've been thinking of getting contacts. Just asking, do you have to wear glasses for a certain amount of time to get them or can you get them rite away? If yes, about how much would they cost.

I no that this doesn't have much to do with the topic but i couldn't find one.Thanks

I had that same problem too. No you don't have to have glasses for a long period of time. I got my contacts right away and trust me, they are amazing!

You don't have to wear glasses to get contacts. The cost depends on the type and the prescription. You can get a quote from your eye doctor after your exam.

Nope, you don't have to start out with glasses.

Contacts are a lot better. They are convenient if you play sports or if you just don't like the look of glasses. However, glasses you can slip on and off whenever you want. Contacts you have to take out and put into solution.

Price differs on the kind you buy. Mine cost my parents about $200 a year, not including solution. I wear them for up to 14 hours a day, and take them out at night. If I forget to take then out I may wake up with a headache.

Also, when you first get contacts they gradually allow you to wear them. You wear them for two days for 5 hours in each day. Then the next two days you may wear them for 7 hours each day. I'm sure you get the idea.

Also, for a higher price you can get colored contacts.
