Help! Body language interpretation...?

UPDATE: What I'm mainly interested in finding out is if this could be a sign that he's interested in me?

Seems like he was nervous and most likely interested. If he wasn't interested what would he be nervous about so he probably is.

I'm not sure if the way the situation plays out in my mind is exactly how it may have looked to you, but generally if people stroke their cheek or chin it's a sign that their contemplating something. He was probably just thoughtful about how he was feeling and what he should say next. He may be interested, but only time will tell really. Have lunch with him again and try to feel him out some more. Eventually you'll have your answer.

Probably doesn't mean anything.  He could have been a little nervous.  Don't read too much into these small things.

Ok... The itching his beard and rubbing his ear. Those are signs that he likes you. You should talk to him. Maybe he's a nice guy.
