Help Explaiming Dream about chairs?

I had a Dream last night our car and another car pull into our driveway one is a rental driven by a rental employee our car drives off. Then a storm begins i ask the driver of the rental if he would like to come in he does there are lines of nice red chairs through out my house. I say he can sit where ever he wants. We walk thru the house passing many of the same identical red chairs along the way. He comes to stop near where we began and sits on the floor that under the doorway that leads to my living room which would finish the loop of my house cause thats where we started.A man and a woman (black) knock on my door something about christmas i open the door they pull out guns point them at me and the stranger i wake up

Interesting dream!

This dream seems to speak of possibly your work situation?  The storm at the beginning may represent difficult moments in your life (relating to family and/or work) that you have faced.  The chairs represent different positions you have been in and out of (ex: moving from job to job) that are similar in some way but has brought you to the point where its felt you're back at where you started.  The stranger in your dream sitting on the floor may represent stopping and reflecting where you are at in life right now an being careful about the next direction you take.  An opportunity has presented itself (knock on door) seeming harmless and of some gain to you (Christmas), but will potentially harm you as an indicator not to open that door.  

A bible verse in Proverbs 14:12 says "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death".

I would take this to be a warning dream of some type which with God's help will lead you in the right direction and path.  Hope this has helped somewhat...God bless!!!

I think the person who has a dream is best at figuring out why. Different things mean different things to different people. If someone like me had this dream I might wonder if maybe they were feeling a bit used or taken advantage of. Or if they felt threatened or that their trust was violated because it is about someone invading their home. They have an excess of chairs, (an excess of hospitality?), the car that is theirs drives away and the car that is not theirs stays, (not being fair to oneself?), the guests start out talking about Christmas and then pull out guns, (an unexpected major violation of trust). Is someone visiting or calling or texting you when you need time for yourself? Keep in mind you are the ultimate insight into yourself, what things represent to other people may not be the same for you.
