Help I need a boxing bag?

I want to buy a boxing bag. What is the best kind?? i want it big but not too big.....it has to be hevy....plz tell me the best brand and weather I should get lether or not..... What is the best one????

Check out Ringside.com, Title.com or Everlast.com for boxing bags.  These boxing equipment companies carry different kinds and different weights.  You could also try a used sporting goods store in your area, but you'd have to be careful about the quality of the bag.  It's no use buying a very worn out bag for practice.  

Leather bags will last, but they tend to be more expensive than the other kinds.  It depends on your preference:  do you want a bag that can be filled with sand or water, do you want a bag you can hang from the ceiling, do you want a standalone (one that sits on a post on the floor and can be moved around easily).

I would suggest leather b/c it will last longer. some websites to look at are ringside.com and everlast.com

It isn't that important to own your own heavy bag. it would be more benificial to just go to a boxing gym where they will have more equipment that just a heavy bag plus you will learn more too. When you train on your own it is easier to develop bad habbits.
