My white Molly is pregnant. The algea sucker will NOT leave her alone.

She stays in a corner wedged between the galss and breeder net..

She wedge herself there and lay upright...(Like she's looking up at the top of the water)

White spots on Back fin. WHATS WRONG??!?!??! I have no luck with fish.

  1. Your fish has a form of parastie... possibly fish lice.

    Quickly go to walmart and purchase tank buddies parasit killer tablet.

    This should clear it up, unless it is already too late.


  2. It sounds like she's diseased. I would raise the temperature and add a little salt. Fish tend to chase after the pregnant fish a lot. I would remove the algae eater. Let's hope the molly will make it. Best of Luck!

  3. Algae eaters are HORRIBLE they will kill their tank mates as they become older, you should remove your algae eater.

    Now back to you molly, the white spots are most likely to crustacean parasite, my corydoras cat fish had them, what you need to do is raise the heat to about 28 degrees this will speed up the parasites life cycle and it will fall of the fish on to the gravel when this happens you should clean your gravel with a gravel cleaner.

    the option is to buy a anti crustacean parasite in petco.
