Help In Wireless Network Problem?

Hi,

Here is the problem. My wireless network doesn't seem to work even though it can be connected to the router. (I can surf net for about 5 mins but after which it doesnt response even though the browser says that it is connected to the internet) I tried all kind of ways, even reformatting my computer but it doesn't seem to work at all.

My computer is Acer Travelmate 4150 and my router is Netgear. I have another computer and it work fine.I tried my wireless cell phone and it work fine too. Just that my Acer doesnt work.

Please share your experience and any configuration would be appreciated.

update the bios on the computers and the router and check for new wireless software

plus install the latest MS service paks

and get the latest browsers

this is freaky... I have an Acer Travel Mate.. but nit the same Model.. and I use Orange LiveBox... I has Exactly the same problem last night .. My PDA works Fine through the WIFI connection...

Hi

I think this is a hardware type problem in ur computer. check the wireless card and if possible then remove the card and check with another wireless card.
