Help!! License Suspension question!!!!!!!!!?

Need your help. Here it is. I am packing up moving to RI this week, and I just got a letter from the MA DMV saying they want to suspend my license for 2 months. Its nothing serious, but my question is, since I have 3 weeks before my mass license is being suspended, if I switch over to get a RI license before the suspension date ( when its still valid) if that would work? PLEASE ANSWER!!! Im stressing myself out over it. Thank you!!!!!

No it will not work .for once your license is suspended ,it is for that time ,and if you are caught using the license after that date  you will be in trouble .

You say it's nothing serious.  Are you joking?  Are you trying to convince yourself of that?  You need a reality check. They don't just suspend your license for nothing.  It had to be serious enough for them to do it in the first place.  Either you got tickets you didn't pay or you got too many and yes that is serious. You obviously have some type of problem that needed something serious enough to get your attention such as having your license suspended and obviously you are still not getting the point.  The State decided to take it to the next level in hopes to get your attention. You can't just run away from your troubles especially when they involve the government.  The most responsible and mature thing to do is take care of it NOW.  Don't try to beat the system cause if you get caught you can just get in more trouble.  Do you want to end up in jail because if you get pulled over with a suspended license because that is exactly what can happen.  You need to own up to your responsibilities and just suck it up and realize you done wrong and this is your punishment.  You do the crime, you do the time.

If MA sent you a letter, it is also on the computer. RI will not issue you a license. Should it happen that you do get a RI license, you take the chance of getting it suspended as soon as MA realizes it. MA will be notified when you turn your license in while getting a new license.

ri will send your ma license information to ma, ie, that you now hold a ri dl.

ma will let ri know that you are suspended or facing suspension.  they will review your application.

they will suspend and possible fine for fraud.

The date MA suspends your licence you are considered suspended in all 50 states, all 10 Canadian provinces, and all territories of both countries, such as Puerto Rico and Nunavut.

Sorry, but as of 3 weeks from now, you are suspended until such time as MA lifts the suspension.
