Help! Locked Nokia 3250?

Question

I have a nokia 3250, and it accepts my Sim but then asks for a Lock Code. I have tried some of the websites, but all say I have to remove sim card and turn it on again. And when the 'insert sim' sign comes on, i should press a series of buttons. But, my Nokia doesnt display this message when the sim is out? is just asks for 'Lock Code' straight away? what do I do? or how do I get round this?

Your phone needs flashed my friend which will roll it back to original setting's, try a unlocking shop some may do this failing that pop into carphone warehouse etc they can send this direct to Nokia for you. Good Luck.

i have a Verizon phone but this happened to me and the lock code ended up being the last 4 digits of my phone number. i'm not sure if it works the same for Nokia, but it's worth a try.
