Help! Malfunctioning camera?

I have an Olympus FE-210. It has worked great since I got it a year ago, but lately, its been giving me trouble. First, it kept telling me that the batteries were dead when they were brand new batteries. Then, after it started working again, when I turned it on, unless I held it perfectly still and pressed all of the buttons very gently, it would shut itself off and, seconds later, turn itself on again. I can't afford a new camera right now, so what do I do?

Try cleaning your battery contacts. And make certain they have a good spring tension on the batteries.
