Help! My hamster needs a name?

Today my mom bought me a black, fluffy hamster. He has a little white stripe on his front, please help me with Mr. Noname? Any ideas?

    (it's pronounced HAY-mish)

  4. If you want a more personal name, think about your favorites. You could use a member of your favorite band, or a character from your favorite book, tv show, or movie. Does your hamster remind you of any of those people, or perhaps anyone in your life? If you have a loved one who you would like to honor then you could name your hamster after him/her. Hopefully these suggestions will help you pick a meaningful name for your new pet.

    (We were going to name our hamster Tweak, but he's the calmest thing, so it just didn't fit.  Technically his name is Niblet, but we just call him Nibbles or Hammy.)

Skunk.  I'm not insulting your hamster at all, because I LOVE skunks (yes, I actually LIKE that 'skunky smell' as to fully 10% of the people in the world) ... but if that won't work, why don't you call him Montenegro (or just Monty) because I'm sure that anyone whose first name was Montenegro would wear a tuxedo all the time, as your hamster does.  Or you could just call him Tux ... and you can tuck Tux into your chest pocket for a nap sometimes.  But my truly FAVORITE name for a hamster is the one I gave to my first hamster, fifty years ago.  Booboo.  I named him after Booboo Bear, Yogi Bear's friend, and I'm sure that my Booboo would love it if you called your hamster Booboo, too.

  27. you can name your hamster based on what they are or how they behave. for example if he likes to eat something you can call him that, or you can call him stripe, because he has a stripe.
