I am in so much trouble! I really need some advice with a Naruto based problem.

I am having a baby and I want my baby to grow up watching the Sub version but as a little child s/he won't be able to read...

Is there any quick way I can teach my new baby Japanese without making him/her suffer for their childhood watch the Naruto dub version??

Please help me! :O

  1. I question the sanity of bringing your child up on a japanese cartoon show about ninjas. Or a cartoon show at all. I have a feeling this might be a joke, and if not I pitty your baby. Part of the development of a child is learning how to listen, respond to and emulate the spoken word. It is better for your baby to hear people speak the English language. Subtitled anime moves too quickly for your child to learn proper reading skills. Instead of bringing your child up on Naruto, take your child out for a walk, to a beach or a park, sit down with your child, read to your child, listen to music with your child, hug your child and nurture your child. If your so worried about your child learning to read subtitled anime at such a young age, your priorities are totally wrong. If you love Naruto so much, buy the DVD's and wait until your child is much older, then just turn the language to Japanese and turn on English subtitles. Or teach your child Japanese over time, and then jsut turn the language on the DVD to Japanese.

  2. i wouldnt let a baby watch naruto, its a violent show for a baby to watch. and why not have your baby learn spanish or chinese? something that is more widely spoken. did you know chinese is the most spoken language in the world???? if you dont believe me, look it up. most people think its english or spanish, but its not. english is 2nd though. hope you enjoyed my interesting fact.

  3. Not really. I'd say watch Naruto with her and use appropriate body language throughout the series. When she starts to learn how to read, watch some more animes or Naruto again and use less body language and explain things to her in ways a young child could understand. Eventually, your child will tie English and Japanese as he or she's first language. Crazy as it may seem, you've got a good idea. I'd like to teach my children basic Japanese.

    Hope I helped ^_^.

  4. Hire A tutor so hw or she can be bilingual
