Help baking a chicken ina oven .......

I bought a whole chicken that is cut in half and pre seasoned . It is 4 ibs 19 oz . I need to know what to set the oven for and how long to cook it for . Thanks

  1. 350 for about an hour in a half.

If the chicken is preseason-ed just set the oven at 350 let preheat for 5 minutes , place chicken on lightly oil oven pan ( glass or metal ) cover chicken with foil piece  let cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour then remove foil and let brown , around 5 or 10 minutes , pull out of oven check the temp. of the chicken with meat term. if must be between 165 and 175 for safe eating  if you don't have a term. use open chicken up a the thickest part and make sure there isn't any blood if there is just place back in oven  and recheck   happy eating  

  3. 325 for about 2 hrs. give the bird a good rub with a mix of extra virgin olive oit,cumin,salt,pepper,garlic, and other spices/herbs that you like. fridge it for an hour. get a can of beer or ginger ale, set the bird on it, foil the top for the first hour. the bird will baste itself. let stand for 10-15 minutes. enjoy!

  4. 375* for about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours covered.

I would bake it at 350 for about 1 1/2 hours.... maybe 2 hours.   If you have a meat thermometer.... its done when internal temperature hits 165 - 170.   Or if not..... when juices run clear..... a way to test for this is to make a small incision in under the leg....... if meat is no longer pink and the juices are clear.... its done.
