Help burning dvds in widescreen?

Question

When I burn DVDs using windows vista dvd maker its a box with black lines on each side on my widescreen TV. Whats the point of a widescreen option if its not widescreen?

Hi Bob,

My favorite DVD burning program is Clone DVD. It copies wide screen in wide screen and if you want you can choose to delete extra languages, subtitles etc. As a result your movie requires less compression and your picture is better.
