  1. it means you had a bad dream. you'll be fine.

  2. were you watching something scary before you went to bed?? that might have triggered it.

are you afraid of losing your family?

or subconsciously you think all black people are demons or dangerous

idk i'm really sorry that you had that dream

  3. Have you experienced recent change in your life, like moving from a small town to a larger city, or going to a school where you are in the minority, racially?  These kinds of changes can be scary.

My family moved from a small town to a large city when I was 12. Because I was in the minority, racially, in my new school, I got picked on a lot.  There are bullies in every race, so since I was white, the black kids who were mean picked on me.

We moved at a time when the real estate agents were trying to get people to sell their houses so they could make a lot of money.  They hired young black men to come up to us and beg for money and make nasty phone calls to us to scare us so we would move.  Of course, we knew some really nice black people, but the real estate agents were paying some that were not so nice to try to scare all the white people so they would move away.

My dad even started having nightmares about being chased by black people.  This was because we were being treated badly by some black people, and we were in the minority.

So, even if you are not prejudice, if you are in the minority, and are being picked on by bullies of another race, it is easy to see how you could have this kind of dream.  I mean, there were people threatening to beat me up after school every day!  It was so hard.

Over time, it did get better, but city schools have gotten a lot worse than when I was in school, with gangs and guns, etc.  So, it is natural you would have dreams like that.  This is most likely your fear coming out in your dreams.

If your parents seem "transparent" or far away, it may be that you feel they are not hearing you.  They may be focused on settling into the new house, or some other busy things in life and not realize the stress you are experiencing.  Your brother, however, may be going through the same things you are, and that is why he was totally gone before the dream's end.

Pray and ask God to give you courage.  Tell your parents you MUST talk to them about the things you are experiencing.  If you have trouble getting their attention, write each of them a letter and leave it somewhere you know they'll see it.  Put it on their pillows if you need to.

I pray you will find a good solution to your problems.  If you really are in a dangerous situation in your school or neighborhood, your parents might consider moving, or private school or homeschooling.  Private schools are not perfect, but usually they are a better atmosphere because parents who work hard to send their kids to private school are more likely to be more involved in their lives, and kids know if they act up they get kicked out, which is not the case in public school.  So there is more discipline and order.

We live in a pretty large city right now where there is a lot of crime and prejudice, but thankfully we live on a quiet street, and have lots of friends of different races.  When we watch the news, we realize most crime is done to people that actually are in relationship to the criminal... up close and personal (family, boyfriend, drug deals gone bad, etc.).  Totally random attacks are rare, even in the most dangerous city in America (our town is in competition with D.C. and Detroit for this title!).

I pray you find a solution and some peace of mind.

    God bless you,

    Fairelight

  4. I think it's a subconscious level of fear in your life. I don't think that dreams are meant to be interpreted literally. It probably has nothing to do with your family or gangsters but rather being fearful and dreaming of gaining back that control to control your fear. I think that's what it is.

  5. Some type of stress or anxiety caused this dream of helplessness.

Think back in the last week to see if anything upsetting happened.  If so, this dream is venting the fear and anxiety.  Also, I seen the number 3 and it represents past, present and future so maybe your worried about the past issues, present issues and your future.

It's just a dream and it can't hurt you.  I have nightmares once every other month and it's usually brought on by stress or a bad memory.

    Take care

  6. wow.

    that's creepy, depressing, and scary.

I think it means that you're afraid of your neighborhood and the people in it.

When you suddenly see your family again, it's like your brain is trying to tell you that it was all just a dream, and they aren't really dead.

Then when they disappear again, you're falling back into your dream again, and they vanish accordingly.
