Help got a new kitten??????????????????

Question

i got a new kitten from the pound and she is only 6 weeks old and didnt have diarrhea when i first brought her home but she has had it for about 3 days know i think it is from the change in her food but she is still playful and eating and drinking what do you think and anything i can do any help will be appreciated thank you

We have learned that when changing a pet's diet to add a little bit of plain vanilla yogurt daily that will help with the stomach upset.  Enjoy your new addition.

I would make sure you are feeding it kitten food. It probably is the change in food, as long as she is eating and drinking still she should be fine. If it goes on for too long take her to the vet. My kitty got diarrhea really bad from Fancy feast, I switched to Friskies and she is much happier.

it is probably from changing the food...make sure that the kitten gets plenty of water...but if this continues you need to contact a vet to make sure there isnt another medical problem causing it..

What a cute little baby she must be at that age! She should go to the vet.  She sounds like she's okay but she is so tiny that a little problem could become a big problem. Plus, the vet can give lots of good advice and booklets on being a new parent.
