  1. I always use alcohol and peroxide on mine.

  2. Just keep cleaning it every day, and before you clean it (most important) WASH YOUR HANDS ! Thats what everyone does wrong. So yea just take a cotton ball and soak it in the cleaner, then rub it on the earing and afterwards, twist the earing to get the cleaner inside the hole (and to keep it open)

& you shouldn't take the earing out for the first atleast 2 weeks, and after that only for a few minutes.

  3. Just make sure you keep it clean. Put alcohol everyday. Keeping your ears disinfected shouldn't be hard at all. Dont keep pulling it and don't mess with it. If it doesn't help you might just want to remove it and let it heal and eventually try it again next time.

  4. Everyday take it out, and stick the long metal thing that goes through your ear in a tube of Neosporin. Neosporin fights bacteria and it also eases any pain. Clean the metal also with alcohal, and if you are really concerned, hydrogen peroxide on a bit of cotton swab would clean your ear where the hole is. By the way, none of the above solutions hurt at all.
