can male goldfishes produce sperm when there are no eggs to fertilize? if they can, how long will they produce sperm again?2weeks? 3 weeks?

  1. Not that I know of. Usually they need to be stimulated by courting the female goldfish and then she drops her eggs and he releases his sperm. Then your tank becomes one big milky mess. It's kinda gross. But yeah. That's how it goes.
