I am close to 60 and want to go back to biking. Ht. around 5'10", wt: 85kg

have always wanted to get back to biking after quite a few years away bringing up family etc etc...have enjoyed Titan 500,

BMW K75, Bonneville 750, Suz 850G

Loved the Bonneville but prefer shaftdrive

now for ease of maintenance. Must be less than 900/1000cc, not too heavy, easy handling, low CG, lowish seat, good economy and totally fuss-free. Also totally non-sporting/hog (style), refined and good(economy) tourer. Can only think of Guzzi Breva 850,

Yamaha XJ's, BMW K series...but will consider the T100 Bonneville for nostalgia reasons...

anyone out there with a sensible recommendation(s)?

warm greetings to ALL,

Otto

  1. I'm over 60, and still ride an old R type 'airhead' BMW.

Can't beat them for reliability & ease of maintenance.

  2. Beamer hands down.
