Help me decide what to buy.?

Question

well i have over $300 and soon will have more. i cant decide what to buy with it though. I'm deciding between a laptop (ibm t41 or t42), an Xbox 360, or a ps3. I'm leaning towards the laptop so that i can surf the web and what not around the house. and also if i get a game system i'll get addicted to a game and not have a life for a few months (un til it gets boring) and become a nerd for a while. I'm thinking the 360 because all my friends have it and it has halo. and I'm thinking the ps3 because its a lot better, free live, and I'm not the kind of person to join the band wagon or do/get something just because everyone else has it. please help me decide. i play a few games on my desktop pc so i wouldn't be doing it on the laptop.

A $300 laptop isn't worth owning.  It's either used and old, or it's so stripped down that you won;t be happy with it.

get laptop! u can doo way more! plus it has free games and addicting ones too, if u download the proper ones.

No xbox 360, cant u just go to ur freinds houses and play?

I'd say get the 360 cuz its fun an all, playin games dont mean use a nerd. Live is cool an stuff + if u got a desktop u dont really need to walk around the house to surf the web, ps3 eh  not a fan of really
