Help me!!! party question!?

ok, well you see.... my friend is throwing a party. Its like a dance party and she wants everyone to dress up like girls wear dresses, and guys wear what ever they thing is impressive. For the invatation, what is a creative way to say to dress formal without saying dress to impress??? please help me!!!!

"Formal Attire is appropriate"-My favorite, her invitees will appreciate knowing what to wear. Also spreading the word, "I can't wait for (her) party, I have a great suit that I haven't worn yet. Pretty good for a straight guy.
